Pressed Wildflower Herbarium Workshop (May 8)

New workshop in Calma House Diagonal by Floristeria Muguet and Elena Ivars, architect and botanical artist in @carabassa_crafts where we will learn the basics of the botanical pressing technique and we will make a herbarium of pressed wildflowers.

The teacher will show us the presses, the materials we will use and give us tips so that the flowers and leaves we use maintain their original color throughout the pressing process.

Then, each participant will create their own herbarium. The design will be free, but Elena will guide us throughout the composition process so that our herbarium looks beautiful. When we have our design finished we will fix the elements so that they do not move and we will frame it.

At the end you will take with you, in addition to the experience, your own herbarium framed and ready to decorate a corner of your home or even to give as a gift.

No previous experience is necessary, and the duration of the workshop is about two hours.
